A native of Northwest Indiana, James Mooneyhan received his juris doctorate degree from the Valparaiso School of Law where he graduated with honors in 2011. While in law school, James clerked for the Honorable Judge Kathleen Lang in Michigan City and advocated for abused and neglected children as a court-appointed special advocate in Porter County.
After graduating, James continued to work on behalf of endangered children as an attorney with the Indiana Department of Child Services in Lake and LaPorte Counties. Over the course of nearly 15 years, James litigated hundreds of child abuse and neglect cases throughout northwest Indiana. He now brings that advocacy and experience to the Allen Law Group in support of injured people.
James lives in LaPorte County with his wife, Lindsey, and three sons. He is an ardent supporter of New Prairie athletics where his sons play soccer and baseball.
